Financial Resilience Program

​​Learn skills to manage your debt and help you to get out of a debt cycle

  • Apply for assistance with NILS (No Interest Loan Scheme)

  • Learn how to create an emergency fund and reduce reliance on this type of loan

  • Learn many different ways to reduce debt, apply for assistance by referral to a Financial Counsellor and relieve financial pressures

  • speak to Creditors

 

Budgeting Strategies 

  • One on one, face to face assistance with creating, reviewing and sticking to a budget

  • Managing increase cost of living

  • How to budget and reduce debt

  • Long term goal setting

  • Financially preparing for school / education

  • Save on shopping

  • Upskilling

  • Engage in a group session once a week and build financial capability

  • Reduce your SPER debt

Our Referral Process

Prospect Community Services Financial Resilience program is a self-referral program. This meaning that anyone can refer. The process is as follows; 

  • Referring person/organisation completes Referral form and emails to info@prospect.org.au 

  • Once the Referral Form is received a member of the Disability and Mental Health program will contact the potential client and make a time to meet and discuss the services required.
